THe New Year!!

Yea, Its a brand new year..

Invited Fiona and Gavin, newly weds Apple and Clive and Sharz and Kelvin over to our place for NYE celebration. It was a last minute arrangement and the scramble to come up with a food list and to order them was a rush. Ordering the food was tasked to me as i was the most free durin that time.Hez...And, as i need not come in on NYE, i have the time to clean up the hse..( YUP, Me..doin hsewrk!!)

Aniwae, the grp came close to 9pm, except for Apple and Clive who came early. We ate the yummilicious food ( but some came down with stomach upset..=( ), had a short wii session and the highlight of the night was the game of pictionary..It was Girls Vs Boys, 3 on 3. ( Poor Fiona wasnt feeling well and thus she left early...next time ya..)

We girls kicked the guys butts the whole 2 rounds! Easy Peasy! And we tot guys are more visual! I laughed til tears rolled down, til my tummy ached! We played til 2am which left us all so mentally drained! More tired than when i played MJ the whole nite! And ya, we played pictionary thru to the new year..My parents would be so proud of me - learning new words at the start of the new year! FIL was so kind in looking after Thadthad, so we cld concentrate on our game. Hee...

Aniwae, here are some classic moments...

Word to Guess: Wart
Bb trying to draw a foot with a wart on it, but somehow, the foot was very distorted.
Kel: Pineapple?
Bb: No
Kel: Pineapple!! Pineapple!!
Bb: No! NO!
By then, we girls were practically rolling on the floor and i told Kel to stop saying pineapple!!

Word to Guess: Spice girls
Kelvin tried to draw 5 girls with mic and music notes
Clive: Matchstick girls?

Word to Guess: Test Tube
Bb Drew a fat test tube and a distorted bunser burner below. And Clive actually shouted out bunser burner 1st!

Word to Guess: The 3 Wise Man
Kel drew 3 men and some feather - like features on them.
So, we named them, the 3 Bird Man! =p

I realised all the classic moments came frm the guys! haha...we girls had such mo qi that we guessed the words really quick! And of cos, some sour grapes accused me of cheating, of remembering the cards beforehand ( they think i v free huh! ), saying that we got the easier stack and saying us as abnormal. We can guess each other's drawings of eclipse, smoke screen, kilt, monday etc...

To conclude, WE ARE JUST THAT GOOD!

Cant wait for the next time to meet up so that we can play again..this time with Fiona and Gavin joining us. See whether Gavin can help boost the guys ratings...Hahahahah...
