and 1 nite at......DISNEYLAND Hotel!!!!
It was supposed to be our wedding anniversary nite at disney hotel, but since we are extending an extra nite at HK, we will be having post wedding anniversary celebration there instead...

8 days solely with Thad...
I all alone with thad (except for my FIL) for 8 days as my parents went on holiday. Its not easy man...i have to bathe, cook, clean, play with thad all by myself! Furthermore, he is SO SO active now ( tell u more later), that its so tiring just to keep up with him. I really need a boost in energy!! Besides this, i have drawn up a list of To-Dos at home for this week.
1) Change bedsheets
2) Wash CNY bedsheets
3) Wash Thad's clothes
4) Change shower curtain
5) Iron B's clothes
6) Shred my old bills
7) Tidy up my room
8) Call SP to check on our stove - wierd gas smell whenever we on it!
9) Research on our Malacca getaway next weekend!
10) Check up on HK hotels!!
Glad to say that i have more or less accomplish all the above except the last one. So hard to find cheap and good hotels in HK leh...any recomendations? Budget hopefully not to cross $150/night..I have so far checked disney hotel which B promised we could stay for a nite. So exciting! managed to find at 25% disc for early Bird booking!
Quite excited abt my upcoming trip to HK in Mar. I would say my flights are more or less confirmed.
7th Mar SIN/HK
11th Mar HK/SIN ( flying back for thad's 1st bdae!!! Hope BB is able to take leave on the 12th...cos i specially flew back and its yr son's 1st bdae!! Plan to take him to the zoo!)
14th Mar SIN/HK
26th Mar - Bb is coming up to find me!!
1st Apr HK/ SIN ( Im gona miss Thad So So So much!!!!)
My 1st time travelling myself and staying in a hotel alone! My colleagues have warned me that its gg to be a nitemare wrkin on the conference. Hopefully with me chiping in this year, the workload will be more evenly spread out. =)
ok, to tell u all how Thad is active and mischievious now....
> Thad took one of my bills that i happen to leave on my bed. He swiftly took one bite of it. I saw the little piece of paper in his mouth and quickly use my fingers to pry his mouth open to get it out. He refuses and struggle away, and with one gulp, he swallowed it!! And he gave me his mischievious expression - sometimes duno whether wana scold him or laugh..
> I was walking into my room to get something when i saw thad's mouth full of blood. I got a shock and quickly check where the blood cme from. It came from his 2 front teeth. He must have knocked it while jumping on the play pen. Did i mention he can stand up on his own in the play pen?!?!?! The amazing thing is that he didnt even cry when he knock his teeth..haiz...sometimes duno how to deal with him.
He is growing way too fast! And i love him to bits!!

My New Year Resolutions...
First, wana recap and reflect on my 09 ones.
1) Save $$$$$$ - HAIZ....how to save when there is a frequent diaper changing and Frequent Milk drinking baby at home and a fuel guzzling machine in the carpark?? You teach me?!?! You teach me?!?!?
2) Have a smooth delivery - 12 hrs consider smooth? Ok la..Baby ok, mummy ok...so SMOOTH!
3) Be a good mum - OF COS! Thad means the world to me...=)
4) Good Health and happiness to all - Hmm..duno why this is in the list..this is more of a wish leh...next!
5) Career stability - Didnt get axe during the last recession..so, consider ok..Hez..
6) To not become an Aunty after giving birth.=p - Erm, i tink im ok leh..trying to maintain..HA
7) To learn more about his Word and instill it in xbb - Still learning and am praying with Thad whenever i get the chance. Bought his first bible too! Oh, and his fav story is Noah's ark...=)
8) Lose pregnancy weight - 1.5kg more to go!!
9) To Travel MORE..i wana go aussie! - Haiz...09 was a pathetic year for my passport. Only went once...and to BATAM nia...aussie? Bb went to exchange back le!!
10) To have a more healthy diet?? - Not really leh..still not taking Veg and downing coke like nobody's biz..=p
Ok, now for my 2010 ones....
1) Want to have healthy lifestyle (More exercise!!)
2) To give God my best and learn His Word more in depth
3) To give Thad my best and to continue to be a good Mummy
4) Spend more time with my parents. Hopefully can go on a trip with them and Thad.
5) Allocate more Us time with Bb
6) Travel Travel Travel!! ( this is already happening! Malacca in Jan;HK in Mar! )
7) Save $$ for upcoming projects. ( ambigious huh...)*winkz*
8) To learn something ( hopefully can resume my piano lessons! )
9) To give my 101% in my work and in everything i do

THe New Year!!
Yea, Its a brand new year..
Invited Fiona and Gavin, newly weds Apple and Clive and Sharz and Kelvin over to our place for NYE celebration. It was a last minute arrangement and the scramble to come up with a food list and to order them was a rush. Ordering the food was tasked to me as i was the most free durin that time.Hez...And, as i need not come in on NYE, i have the time to clean up the hse..( YUP, Me..doin hsewrk!!)
Aniwae, the grp came close to 9pm, except for Apple and Clive who came early. We ate the yummilicious food ( but some came down with stomach upset..=( ), had a short wii session and the highlight of the night was the game of pictionary..It was Girls Vs Boys, 3 on 3. ( Poor Fiona wasnt feeling well and thus she left early...next time ya..)
We girls kicked the guys butts the whole 2 rounds! Easy Peasy! And we tot guys are more visual! I laughed til tears rolled down, til my tummy ached! We played til 2am which left us all so mentally drained! More tired than when i played MJ the whole nite! And ya, we played pictionary thru to the new year..My parents would be so proud of me - learning new words at the start of the new year! FIL was so kind in looking after Thadthad, so we cld concentrate on our game. Hee...
Aniwae, here are some classic moments...
Word to Guess: Wart
Bb trying to draw a foot with a wart on it, but somehow, the foot was very distorted.
Kel: Pineapple?
Bb: No
Kel: Pineapple!! Pineapple!!
Bb: No! NO!
By then, we girls were practically rolling on the floor and i told Kel to stop saying pineapple!!
Word to Guess: Spice girls
Kelvin tried to draw 5 girls with mic and music notes
Clive: Matchstick girls?
Word to Guess: Test Tube
Bb Drew a fat test tube and a distorted bunser burner below. And Clive actually shouted out bunser burner 1st!
Word to Guess: The 3 Wise Man
Kel drew 3 men and some feather - like features on them.
So, we named them, the 3 Bird Man! =p
I realised all the classic moments came frm the guys! haha...we girls had such mo qi that we guessed the words really quick! And of cos, some sour grapes accused me of cheating, of remembering the cards beforehand ( they think i v free huh! ), saying that we got the easier stack and saying us as abnormal. We can guess each other's drawings of eclipse, smoke screen, kilt, monday etc...
To conclude, WE ARE JUST THAT GOOD!
Cant wait for the next time to meet up so that we can play again..this time with Fiona and Gavin joining us. See whether Gavin can help boost the guys ratings...Hahahahah...
