Sick and Tired...
Not of something..but literally..
Sudden onset of flu after lunch..sneezing like mad..eyes teary and throat scratchy..Fiona must have passed to me thru email..hee..she left oso, but earlier..i tong til 3+ then i cant tahan le..went home to take a loooooong nap. Stopped sneezing now, but still feel v v tired and weak..wats new?i kept feeling tired these days, despite a rather free week..
There are few events these past weeks, but i can feel it building up, with deal roadshows and corp days lining up our calendar..=( Aniwae, last eve movie event was successful but yet disastrous..Successful in the sense that all turned up.yup, 100% attendance..1st time since i joined..last time always last min cancellation, those seat front seats refuse to come etc..Clients were quite punctual, despite us starting at 6.45pm..B was the latest..so we didnt catch the beginning..Disaster part was the food..orders were mixed up, some clients went hungry thruout the show, some haf extra orders..haiz..so angry..so embarrasing for us..demanded an ans frm them..its unacceptable!!
Movie was not that nice..hate the ending..so duh..but it was nice experiencing gold class experience for the 1st time..but B and me concluded that it was not worth the $25bucks..aniwae, doing another one in June..normal hall..the ticket arrangement will kill mi again.hai..
Oh, to go back to the topic of tiredness, i felt SO SO tired after the movie, despite only 9+..cld hardly stand up straight while waiting for cab home..and i plomped myself down on the bed at 11pm and slept all the way..i used to be a light sleeper and cant sleep with lights on..but now, i slept thru the noise that b made like a baby!haha..
ok, now abt my busy weekend..felt that my entries are getting longer..haha..but too much to blog..am i getting more chiong hei?hee..sat was busy..went to B's fren hse cos his baby 1st mth..so cute..and so small, so fragile!!scary..after that rushed over to Gav's hse for their briefing..discussed how to torture..hurhur..so fun!After that rushed to sentosa for bbq..was so late when we rch cos he roads were so jammed! and there were a lot of ppl at vivo! i hate crowds..there were so many food left over at the bbq..but the food were nice..hee..but towards the end, i got SO tired, that i kept quiet and stone thruout.hai..Aniwae, that day, i tink i spend over 100 for cab fare, zipping all over the island..
Sun, i woke up late for usher..rushed like mad and was super late! so paiseh..after svs and cell, went home to rest..then B's cousin arrived with their 3mth plus baby boy..cute and i tink next time sure v handsome! his eyes are so charming, with those deep double eye lids..so jealous, cos God gave me one only..HA.After that i went to Loof for Fiona's hen party..loved that place..so cosy! It was fun, daring Fiona to 7 tasks ( which i know today are peanuts for her..!!) and we arranged 10 stalks of flowers to be given to her at diff intervals frm diff guys..but she hor..no response when she received the 1st stalk..like v normal to receive flowers frm strangers lydat..hmm, issit true? HAHA...she can still continue to take pics loh..me and joy were like givin each other strange looks..aniwae, glad u liked that day and the board that we prepared ( i only contribute photos nia..=/) Cant wait for yr actual day..8 more days!!

My 1st GSS wrkin in town
With Marina square, suntec, milenia tower and raffles city just a stone throw away, i have no lack when the desire to shop kicks in. But now im quite 'scared' to eat out cos of the sale! There are sales everywhere and 2 days in a row, i have come back with an extra bag in my hand, despite the fact that i have told myself last week that i will stop for the month cos i spent quite a bit on mother's day and b's bdae..=(
But, frankly speaking, how to stop? Fiona came to find me for lunch yest and we went g2000.Some stuff were on 30% off and if u haf amex card, u get an additional 15% off. What a great deal!!bought a shorts and a wrkin skirt..Then today, saw mphosis havin 50-70%off! bought a dress at only $15!!so cheapie..there were a lot of ppl and you really have to 'dig' to find the gd stuff. Def gg back for more! Bought a face brush and also loose powder..haiz..get me out of here!Lucky next week i got lunch duty-where i have to eat in to man the trader's line. orelse i tink my card will have a gd wrkout again..
Today was family day or smth and we were allowed to go off at 5pm so that we can eat with our family. Jo wanted to leave at 5+, but last min, so many things came in.usually fri its lydat..with last min changes for the following week's meetings and bcos we are hosting a movie event next mon-Indiana Jones gold class at vivocity! Cant wait..its my 1st time watching gold class..hee..bringing B along as part of his bdae celebration too..Aniwae, in the end we left at 6.30pm after tieing up all the loose ends. Hope next week will be a smooth one as well!
Had another girly nite, this time with HC and Jiahui. Have not met her for such a looooong time. The purpose was actually to pass me my wedding gift cos due to some reasons, she cld not make it tat nite.But she forgot to bring!haha..Had a gd chat, catching up w them..Jh is doing so well now as an housing agent.Really NOT BAD!!HAHA.Got a free dinner and free ride home..thx huh..met hc's NOT BAD boyboy there too..=)
Not feelin well now. Just went LS and i feel like vomitting now. Hope its not food posioning..sobz..dun wana ruin my weekend..cos this weekend i will be busy preparing for fiona's wedding and i haf a bbq at sentosa tml!

Big Boys do Cry...
Set my alarm clock to 3am to catch the match..but didnt even hear it go off..Was so tired these few days despite slacking in the office ( to Everest: Im not doin a bimbo job hor..just that this week pretty free only..) BUt B woke up at 4am and switched on the tv..score was 1-1..Ronaldo scored 1st..and Lampard equalised... i watched in despair as Chelsea took most possesion of the ball..Man Utd defense was brilliant and i guessed Chelsea had a down day..Drogba's and i cant rem who's shot hit the post..sending ripples of waves thru my heart. The match was so heart thumping and it had a good wrkout.
As the match goes into extra time, deja vu sets in..FA cup final (was it?) as both Chelsea and Man Utd were nearing penalty, Drogba sent in the winning goal...Hope that history wun repeat itself today..Before the final whistle was blown, 2 things happen..Joe Cole was denied a penalty despite Ferdinand's leg totally crossing his head..i tink he will be suay for 7 years loh!! The other ting was that Drogba got a red card!!I didnt see what was going on, but suddenly Tevez got into a argument with few of the blue guys..then many ppl crowd around them and 'plak'-a slap was given across Vidic face by the ivorian..no need to say further liao..red card given and out he goes..the incident nv even start frm him and he have to be there at the wrong time..haiz..another suay one..WHat was he tinking man??
Bi Bi...penalty time..i pulled B to seat upright..this is our usual penalty ritual..we will hug one another, just like how the players did on the field..this time round, we each hug 2 elephants..hee..The 1st 2 penalties went well..Ronaldo took the 3rd,somehow my heart has this sinking feeling..and true enuff, he missed the penalty..AGAIN!!somehow he always miss penalty under pressure..haiz..i felt like crying then..Later on when it was John Terry's turn to take the winning shot, i gripped my dumbo tightly. Can there be a miracle? True enuff, he slipped cos of the heavy rain and he missed the shot totally!!!A euphoria wave rose within me..there's hope!!Now every shot is crucial, every shot is heart dropping..any shot now can be the deciding factor..Nani and giggs did brilliant in their shot..Next is Anelka..hardly see him in action and was surprised he took the shot...A clever ploy by Van De Sar worked and the moment when his hands blocked the ball, i jumped up in jubilation on the bed again--CHAMPIONS...WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS AGAIN!!!
It was such a touching moment that i really felt like crying..Man utd has waited SOOOOO long for this, and after 9 years, its back to Old Trafford...Celebrated with them as i see them hoist the cup.. it was so close for Chelsea, i really have to give it to them..They have a strong team, but not as united as Man utd..Maybe if they focus on building on their teamwork, they will be unbeatable? The Chelsea that won 2 EPL in a row somehow was lost le..Aniwae, John Terry bawled his eyes out..I guess he really blamed himself for missing that crucial penalty..An influential captain, he really did a gd job in motivating his team mates to stay on.So ya, big boys do cry..If Drogba was not sent out, it might be Chelsea who will leave the cup but aniwae, next season ba..=p

On a different note, gona blog on an unpleasant and maddening experience i had with this photo shop at Toa Payoh central. This shop is famous cos it only costs 20cents per piece and theres no min to develop. Furthermore, we have gone there several times and the pics were ok. Went there to develop our wedding pics using a thumbdrive..Developed 400+ in total for relatives and frens. To my horror, most of the photos and the 8Rs were pixelated!! When i collected them, she just told me that resolution was bad and i wasnt feeling well to argue with them..But when i went home to check..all were rubbish! i cant even give them out! Mum was right...when she went to develop using her thumbdrive, the person advised her that the photos will be blur so he asked her to bring down the original disc instead...When she told me this, i have already sent the photos to develop and NOBODY there advised me.
When we went back to demand an explanation, they have the cheek to tell us that we did not copy the pics properly to the thumbdrive and that we did not check the machine carefully to note that its low resolution..i cant believe my ears..they are pushing the blame to....ME? So pissed..they did not do their due dilligence in warning me about the low resolution and blindly print the blurred 400+pics!!How in the hell will i know the machine will state? Nobody will notice if you dun highlight. We are not in this line, i wouldnt noe!!!She say i shd ask if i duno...Wat the hell..if i duno theres this thing,how to ask? Its like when u buy a bowl of noodles, will u ask the seller..hey, is this noodle ok to eat?has it passed its expiry date?NO!!Bloody hell..im so freaking mad! I gave her 2 solutions..either refund my $90 + or re print my photos for free..she refused. Her offer to us was to reprint with them and they will charge 18cents each.PUI..10cents i still will consider. 18cents? Can she go fly a kite? im sad to say that this is the last time that i will patronise the shop and i WILL NOT recommend my frens there..
Wat a lesson learnt! next time, b4 u develop pics, MUST ask them whether resolution is ok..my 400+ photos, i tell her, bcos of her shop sloppiness and unprofessionalism, im gona throw them into the dustbin! What poor service..Was really v upset over the whole matter. Im usually quite docile (HA!) and i dun usually confront strangers lydat, but i really felt v injustice in this..Looking at all the photos really pained my heart..and this is my wedding photos somemore!What a damper...haiz..

I miss going overseas again...
After one month of coming back frm Japan, my wanderlust is kicking in again..maybe its the ppl around me that are planning their trips that set me in this mindset..hee...Jan gg Japan on the 1st;Fiona gg Europe mid June;Family gg Japan (w/o me!!) on the 20th;Belinda gg KL for biz trip next week etc..
But, if i wana go overseas, it will b quite difficult too..cos i DUN HAVE LEAVE!i only have 5 pathetic days left and i havent took leave for my bdae..=( Most of my leave have been used for my wedding and honeymoon..oh, how i missed it..
I need more vigour in my work..I need more motivation..where can i find it?? Gg on leave next thurs for B's bdae, duno wat to do oso..usually i will just take friday as well..so that i can have long weekend..but, haiz..dun wana waste them..since nv go overseas oso..cant wait for the new year so that i can have 'new' leave and can start planning for a long trip! haha..
SIL is back from her solo trip to Italy. Hearing her stories really make mi envious! I kept tugging on B's shirt sleeve and mouthing i wana go..HA..Both of B's sis travel a lot! They have been to europe twice, turkey, nepal, US, Africa...etc..So gd! =)
B bought a lumpy and a dumbo for me during the weekend..my room is now a mini replica of what i have at home..i was just telling b that watever dumbo that is found in shops in Sing has been bought by us..HA, so he cant make mi angry next time le.( Not that i can easily be appeased with elephants, but B has a way of presenting them to me. He will not just give it to me lydat.) Yest he showed mi a glimpse of a receipt when he got home and gave me this cheeky face.He then pretended to busy himself in the kitchen.I turned our room upside down looking for my prize. Then he told me that he bluffed mi one. That receipt was for his coll whos in the hospital. *angry!*After seeing that, he passed me the house key and ask me to quickly look outside.Went to open the door and my poor dumbo is seating outside, looking like trash that we are throwing away=p.will upload the pics another day..

A Wasted Weekend
Felt that the 3 days wasnt enuff..what a total waste..haiz..only upside was that i met up w Jan for facial and Limin after that for dinner and chit chat yest. It was such a long time that i had a girls' outing with them..It was an enjoyable evening at sushi tei..but our topics were quite wierd though. Other than catching up on each other lifes, our topics ranges from washing machines, ovens, how to wash our whatever ( i taught Limin how to wash clothes!!HAAHHA) and Limin's and my nailess toes..haha..we sounded like aunties already! hee..aniwae great catching up and hope for more to come! =)
Geared up for the match this early thurs..still pondering whether to watch the whole match or just the results..i scarde i too tired leh..and i def wana report to wrk the next day...Aniwae, weekends are boring w/o EPL..haiz..
Felt so lost and free w/o my tuitions..comtemplating whether to buy Wii..the more i tink abt it, the more excited i am..went to check out the price and its quite exp! how? anybody wana contribute huh? B and i discussed abt our funds that day and he say that we can start a wish fund, for the stuff that we want..oh man, my wish list is gg to be long! i have a few stuff that i want to get le! haiz..law of economics..the wants are always more than the needs..=p

Geared up for the match this early thurs..still pondering whether to watch the whole match or just the results..i scarde i too tired leh..and i def wana report to wrk the next day...Aniwae, weekends are boring w/o EPL..haiz..
Felt so lost and free w/o my tuitions..comtemplating whether to buy Wii..the more i tink abt it, the more excited i am..went to check out the price and its quite exp! how? anybody wana contribute huh? B and i discussed abt our funds that day and he say that we can start a wish fund, for the stuff that we want..oh man, my wish list is gg to be long! i have a few stuff that i want to get le! haiz..law of economics..the wants are always more than the needs..=p

My day...
Ta da..my new lunch box which costs me..$28 bucks!Wanted to wat cereal at wrk, so bought the above so that i canpour milk into it..Surprisingly, B did not grumble..ya, sometimes pig do fly...still waiting f or the day that i can wake up and see that B prepared breakie 4 me..eggs..sandwiches..yummy..but sometimes, pigs dun fly that high ya..so i can just dream.HA
Suffered a mild case of food poisoning last sat. I think it was the bamboo clam i ate, cos thats the only dish that is individual portion. My tummy pain til i cant sleep! haiz...spoiled my weekend.

Watched the impt and i-know-Man -Utd-will-be-the-champs-match with sour grapes b last eve...My heart sure had a gd wrkout! i would say Wigan's goalkeeper could have been man of the match as well..He sure saved plenty of united's powerful shot..but they were unlucky i guess, in not getting the penalty for ferdinand's handball..I tink its a clear handball leh...but aniwae, United derserved to win la..wigan's defense quite sucky.
Though Ronaldo is really gd..( 2 of his free kicks were brillant!) but smth, he can be damm irritating..like when the opponent attacked him, he would just stand still, look at the refree and according to the commentator, sulked..while wigan ran w the ball when the refree gave the play on sign...he shd not have stop and shd haf carried on to 'fight' for the ball! I mean, if the refree wana give you a free kick, they have whistles ok..but cant deny his skill la...one of the best...=)
Now awaiting the impt match..Champions league final! What a football season..=p
Today B told me a shocking thing. my MIL picked up a call at home..apparently, somebody impersonated B and told her that he's beaten up by some hooligans..of cos my MIL knows its not true, cos B speaks to her in cantonese..so she immediately asked who is this, but they hung up. But, she got a shock out of it. I cant believe these conman..They are so worthless, piece of shit that will rot in hell!!Where are their bloody conscience???Picking on old ppl, unwary of situations..I destest them and really hope the police will burst their syndicate. So many poor old folks have fallen into their trap and their hard earn $ just gone in a snap of the fingers..So i told B that we must invent a code word..if really in trouble, we can use the code to identify ourselves!HA..
Told B's sis and she was quite funny..she 'invented' a few phrases in case next time MIL picks up the line:
-My son is in jail leh..He released liao meh?
-Err...which of my sons are you referring to huh? I got plenty.
-Eh, my son is in Hawaii leh...u calling frm there huh?
-What is yr account number huh? (then can hack and take back all the $!!)
Aniwae, do be aware of these bas*****...Do inform the elderly abt them..NOt that they are gullible, but sometimes, they might panic in such situations and not make a sound judgement...

Bloated..
So full...just came back frm my cousin's bdae dinner at Si Chuan Dou Hua...We had a la carte buffet..so spicy and so damm full..Had a gd time chatting w my cousins. Havent met them since the wedding and we chatted so much...hee
Sianz..my shoe spoil again..though its a gd excuse to get new ones, but the feeling of spoiling yr shoes twice in a week is not a gd one..Shall not throw away this pair, cos its the red pair that B gave me when he proposed.then i can show xiao bb how cheepo didi is cos he bought a lousy pair of shoes..HAHA...just joking b..
ok, now shall go decide which shoes shd i buy...hmm...

Duno why this days my eyes can become tap lydat..can on just by a click of the fingers..Haiz...hate it..sometimes it can be so embarrassing..Thinking abt a lot of things can make mi cry-Family, frens...etc

Nuttin much this weekend..going hospital to visit my MIL..Thx God her op was a success.Hope she can be discharged soon..
Was bored at wrk yest cos a lot of ppl was on leave, thus the office was like a ghost town again..decided to plan my next trip.HAH...cant wait to get my passport stamped again..planning it in oct, during my bdae week..( still a Looooooong way to go..hai) hopefully can go w fiona and gav as well..=) act planned to go maybe genting but yest i was tinking, can go bali..or clubmed! those places that i nv go b4..asked B abt it..and AMAZINGLY...he say ok..but he added..c first k..usually he will go..HUH? so ex? NO $$ still wan to go??and blah blah dee LA LA...(they dun call him Chan Bei Bei for nuthin k~haha...) So, why was he in a good mood? Cos i ordered mcdonald breakfast as a surprise for him yest...i ordered in the office to be sent to his place..cos he was on leave...this was to thx him for the mayday breakie that he cooked for mi..(there's still room for improvement k!)
So gals..if u wan LV, CD, a sponsored trip or watever u like..rem...feed yr man first...a full man will most likely sucumb to yr requests! HAHA
Geared up for the MU Vs West Ham trip today..but its at 7.45pm again! and i cant watch it cos i will be at Clarice's wedding...=( nm...i hope my boys will thrash WH..though they are MU nemesis..=p
