When life throws challenges your way..
LAst week my life was literally turned upside down..with 2 huge pieces of bad news, adjustments to be made in my life and just desperately in need to keep my sanity in place.
One of the bad news was that my mum cant look after Thad le bcos she needs go thru a major op and hence needs some time to recover. I took about 2 days to search for a infantcare, repeating my urgent situation in every phone call. So for those preggy mummies who intend to send yr child to infantcare, pls be more kiasu abit and call them up to be placed on waitlist early! I was quite shocked in the low supply of infantcare in Singapore! Thank God one infantcare just opp my parents home is able to accomodate thad. My only inconvenience is that i have to stay at sk for the time being...Have to lug my stuff back again. But i guess we have to take things one step at a time...
Thank God that my mum's op was a successful one. Hope she will recover her strength back soon! I have been at home for a while and this made me more appreciative of what my mum done, taking care of thad these 15mths...its not easy! And i tink it will be a while before i can easily meet frens, catch a movie after work...But wells, this are the little sacrifices i need to take..
For myself, im slowing accepting reality, knowing its not easy...Wish to quickly move on in my life and hope that whenever this topic is raised, i can easily share w/o having tears in my eyes or having a heavy heart.
Im finally gg back to wrk next monday...think in the month of june, i only wrk for 7 days? Haha...Many changes in work and i hope i can cope and adapt to the changes. Sigh..
England is out of the WC, with another controversial disallowed goal...!#$!@#$!@!$ I was jumping on top of my bed again when Lampard scored the 2nd goal but was reduced to tears when it was disallowed! Stupid kelong referee and linesman! It could have seriously changed the game! But haiz..another 4 years ba!

My Life So Far
Whee...what a roller coaster ride my life was the past few weeks, or should i say months...Drastic changes in work, relationships, life etc made me lost for words...Energy level has been a dangerous low and immune system has taken a huge beating!
Thank God that He has always brought us thru this difficult period. Though some things are still left unsettled, we have the faith that all are in His hands...
Supposed to attend 2 weddings last last week but only to attend 1 due to our sick family. =( Really felt guilty not able to help out as promised at Rozi's wedding. Actually i didnt do much at Jan's wedding as well! So sorry Jan! But yr wedding was beautiful and KC was crappy as usual! haha....Almost rolled on the floor laughing at his Thank You speech! Cant wait to see yr Maldives photos!!
WC season has started and my, am i glad that we subscribed to it cos apparently the timings of this WC arent so bad! Managed to watch most of the matches...=) Once every 4 years, B and me will come together as a couple to support the same team - England!
Instead of sitting at one end of the bed, We huddled tgt and watch the match..
Instead of hurling insults at each other team, we teamed up to hurl insults at England's opposing team.
Instead of one black face and one happy face at the end of the match, its either 2 black faces or 2 happy faces...=)
But sad to say, the team has disappointed us AGAIN! And i cld think of some reason why...
1) The key players are made up of arch rival teams - Chelsea and Man Utd. Can you imagine they cant wait to tear each other up for 7-8 mths before and now they must work tgt in a team???
2) The line up was crap...Why the-cannot-seem-to-score-striker-Heskey is still in the first 11 is more baffling to me as why Singapore cant make it for WC 2010.
3) Players like Short-but-good-winger-Joe Cole is left on the bench is like watching the WC on your 24 inch TV in your bedroom instead of your 42 inch TV in the living room.
4) Capello has this irritating habit of only letting the players know who is in the starting line up minutes to kick off and thus made players like butter finger Robert Green feels like butter thereafter. Poor him, he can defintely get a early retirement after this WC.
5) England do not have a steady goalie. All 3 goalies are known to be Green in the game ( forgive the pun) and can you imagine their only hope is on David James now? Its like saying we are counting on Singapore to enter WC 2014.
6) The jabulani ball.. Yes, that ball causes Green and other goalies to slip in the games.
That aside, i do admire some of the squad non-Man Utd players like Carragher. Other than Ferdinand, he's my no 1 defender! With both of them, the goalie feel more assured.
Looks like this WC is going to go down the books with the most number of upsets in the big teams like Germany ( orbi good!! Who ask you to criticize England! ), Italy, France ( another problem child) etc...Issit the Jabulani ball doing its black magic? I guess i should say the ball is round. If Greece can win the Euro in 2004...i cant see why North Korea cant win the WC this year...=)
Go England!!
~ Cant wait for Tues to arrive!!~
