Wanted to blog abt my Christmas week a week ago..but too hectic and too tired to do so. Its always the case of too many things and too little time..

I took leave the whole of last week btw...

Monday 21st Dec
1st Day of leave...woke up at 8+ and cldnt get back to sleep! Darn...Wash up, packed my stuff and headed to sk. Played with thad til evening where i got ready for Suhui and ZY's wedding. Went to pick Bb up frm wrk and headed there. Jam in Orchard. ( Expected!) The wedding was at Copthorne, Waterfront, beside Zouk. Never been there b4 and was quite shocked at the grand and huge ballroom, stage and also the fab food! Too bad Zouk was close on a weekday. Orelse, can pop in..(Miss clubbing at Zouk!!) Aniwae, our table only had 6 pax!! Sad to say, my band grp has been dwindling in numbers. Guess ppl are just too busy with their own life..=( Aniwae, congrats to the couple!

Tuesday 22nd Dec
Woke up early A.G.A.I.N and headed to sk. Same thing..spent whole day with Thad.Evening time, we went tamp for some jewellery shopping as my parents wedding anni is the very next day. It was so crowded! Had a hard time finding parking space and i always hate the TM carpark entrance. Always chocked full of cars...Aniwae, Mum got a very nice ring for herself. *envious*

Wednesday 23rd Dec ( Start of Bb's Leave! Yea!)
We got up early as there are a lot of things to do today. Due to his very busy wrk schedule, Bb didnt have time to shop for Christmas pressies, and hence we need to do some last minute shopping today. Head to orch in the afternoon and ya, jam here, jam there...ppl here ppl there..Saw some of my frens too! Managed to get all the presents that we require and we head to sk to fetch thad to go to Apple and Clive's wedding at Merchant Court. Jam along the way and we were the last to arrive at the table. Thank God Thad was in his relatively best behaviour that nite.. He sort of sat thru at the high chair thruout the whole wedding..Phew! It was a nice wedding and there were a lot of polariad takings...which we wonder who it belongs to..the wedding couple or us? In the end i took back mine...Hee..Congrats to Both of you!

Thursday 24th Dec
Didnt go out during the day..just accompany Bb to toa payoh central where he went back to office to be Santa and i went to buy bread and log cake for my parents annual christmas party at sk.This time round, there were lesser ppl and i guess its an optimal size for a party...where everybody feels comfortable in their own space and we can mingle more...Jan, kc, limin, michelle and Daniel came over and we had a great time chatting, catching up and playing pictionary! ooh, i love pictionary...its so funny!! Oh..thad came as santa and he was so cute that day!!! Photos in fb..

Friday 25th Dec
Its Christmas!! Christmas is not only abt presents and food...its the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ ...and pls do not spell it as X'mas....cos you cant take the Christ out of Christmas. Without HIM, there will be no Christmas...=)
Attended the 12pm service. Was rather rushed as had to wake thad up earlier for milk, bathe him and rush to church so as to get a seat in the sanctuary. Thank God, there was space. As it was a Christmas service, kids are allowed to seat at the back and it was Thad's 1st time in the sanctuary! His eyes were wide open as he stared at the high ceilings and the congregation there. Kc and Jan took turns to carry him which 'lighten our load'. Hee...After service, we had our annual Christmas Lunch at Fish and Co...Wasted a lot of time at the carpark cos blur B cldnt rem where he place the keys!!Practically turned the car upside down just to look for it loh!!
Aniwae, was so tired after lunch that we head back home immediately...but Jan and Limin went shoe shopping w/o me..and they both bought 4 pairs each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday 26th Dec
Boxing day - This term comes about cos presents (boxes) are opened on this day..So its opening of presents time! This time ard, i have more presents! So happy!haha...BB is in a shopping mood today and we headed to Marina sq/suntec for some boxing day sales. It was rather crowded...He bought so many things that day..thad and mi???zilch...only see him happily shop nia. But Thad was VERY talkative that day! He kept PA-PAing away and i was so embarrassed as everybody turned and stare at us!! One sales girl even ask mi why is he lydat?!?! -_- We shopped til 11+ and we were all so tired after that...except thad...who slept at 1.40am!!!

Sunday 27th Dec
Its Baby Owen's 1st mth celebration today! Cute name huh....Future Man Utd supporter for sure...cos his papa support it anyway.HA...he and Thad are gona be such gd frens..=) Cant wait for him to grow up so that they can play tgt!


And thats all for last week..even blogging abt it makes mi feel tired! =p

2009 has been a fruitful year for me..Really thank God for his abundant blessings upon our lifes, for giving me a wonderful family, frens and of cos, thad! I have lost count the number of times i met with an obstacle and He intervened. And i pray that the people ard me are also able to experience His love one day...

It irks me to see parents who smoke in front of their child. Its bad enuff that they wana harm their own body, but to also harm that of their child....Its totally irresponsible!

First visit to 313 Somerset...

Our initial plans of gg to Vivocity cum Mount Faber with Fiona and Gavin was changed to Somerset 313 due to conflicting schedules. Its the latest and last new shopping centre along the Orchard belt and we came to see whether it is a one of its own, or its just another photocopy of the rest of the other malls...

I was early and thus i walked from the top floor to the bottom....nothing interesting...all the stores can be found elsewhere. What i found interesting is that Forever 21 is 3 stories high..! I guess duplexes is the IN thing now. Its a long time since i stepped into a Forever 21...and i saw many nice clothes, all under $50. The old me will just grab, try and buy. But the now me will see, look at price tag, sigh and walk off....haiz...i guess i deserve a pat on my back for resisting the temptation. HA...

We settled our dinner at Say Cheeze. My 1st time eating there. Food was so-so and pricing is still ok..We were discussing where to eat the whole day, cos we wana save $. Initially wanted to eat KFC, but it was full! Enjoyed the chit chat abt their upcoming trip to Japan (Really missed the place and wonder when can we go back there again..hee...);complaining abt the high yen/wrk;my reluctance to have 2nd child etc...

~When can i shed off the last 2kg?~

~B is very irritating today. Showed him the clothes that i liked at Forever 21 and he was like-You are a mum now, why still wear til lydat? Hmph....Im a Hip mum...OK?!?!?~

Woke up today with a heavy heart..

Recalled and realised that i dreamt of the past again...

And gosh...i really hate it..but who can control dreams?

Yea..im on 2 days leave! Wrk has been super hectic this week. Though i only worked for 3 days, it seems so long..Looking forward to spending time with my mum and little T for the next 2 days. And already, we have plans lined up...

Thurs - Either Tamp/orch in the afternoon and taking the Funvee bus in the evening. This bus will bring us ard the marina bay and orch area to see the Christmas light up. So, praying for gd weather!

Fri - Either Orch in the afternoon and marina area in the evening, follow by SRC for dinner ( Little T's 1st time there..maybe can let him dip his toes in the pool.Hee...)

So ta-da, thats my plans for the next 2 days. Hope they will have a great time. Little T is becoming more interactive now and its more fun to play with him.=D

There's one very thing abt me which i would like to change for the coming year...

That is.....

I need to do things/trust that things happen in HIS time...Did a bit of reflection of my life the past weeks as B and i were reading Rick Warrren's The Purpose Driven Life. It basically talks about what is your purpose in your Life and what is God's amazing plan for us. Indeed, God has a wonderful plan for each and every one of us, even before we were even born. But, the most impt question is, are you following God's plan??

There are many crossroads in our life. Major ones are - which course you wld want to study in uni/is he the guy for me?/Shd i have a baby? Minors ones are - Shd i embark on this plan etc ( ok, i cant really think of any minor crossroads at the moment)

I reflected on my own crossroads in life....and whether did i seek God in those...and sad to say, in most of them, i didnt. I just did the easier way out and thought that will work out for the best. Sometimes, i tend to rush things in life without letting God work in me, in His time. Maybe im just plain lazy...i dun like to wait...i dun like to take a long road when i know there's a shorter one...

So, in this coming new year...or heck...starting from today...i will pray to God to let me have a patient heart...cos as the song goes...

Lazy Saturday....

Was v tired last nite that i slept before 12am...but Little T wldnt let me sleep...he kept talking away in his own language..i was so fed up that i switched off the lights. But even in the dark, he still continued talking..-_- But i guess he gt tired of babbling and went off to LaLa land...

We both woke up at ard the same time this morning...815am...so early hor...and on a weekend! haiz...Bb is away at a training at a far far away chalet til 6pm today...so, its a sianz weekend where we stayed at home...

But we got company! Hc and Kenny dropped by for a visit to play with Little T. Hee..hope u guys had fun! Little t is a tad cranky these days, cos his 3rd tooth is growing out..and its quite big! I think its really painful for him and my heart ache when he cried last night bcos of the pain. =(
