So Exhausted that i feel like crying..=(

Feeling extremely exhausted this week...but one gd thing is that this week passes very fast.=) Met Fiona and Gavin for dinner last evening and a bit of shopping thereafter. N when i rched home, i was so exhausted! ma chiam i went out gai gai the whole day! almost cldnt bring myself to the shower...hai...


Wrk is quite hectic this week oso..with companies releasing their results, our upcoming conferences and so many marketings going on..we are really up til our necks on some days. But one thing i really like abt my job is that i can leave at 6pm in peace-no need to worry abt stuff etc..Its gd for a wrkin mum like me..=)


Some things that irritated me this week..


1) People who do not reply to all when you cc your other colleagues in the initial email.
-I really dun understand this..whats the purpose of cc'ing people is that you want them to be in the loop! It makes no point to just reply to me only..!!


2) People who expects the door to magically open by itself
-The room that i wrk in is a restricted area and thus we installed a doorbell, so that ppl can notify us when they wana come in and we will just press the door release button. Some very smart ppl, after pressing the doorbell, just stood there smiling, w/o pushing the door to come in. Im just puzzled..and some even keep pressing the bell! Irritating...they expect ppl to walk over to open huh...!?!?


3) Colleagues who drew the line clearly.
-I called up somebody frm another dept this week to ask abt this guy frm her dept. Here is our conversation..

Me:Hey, what is abc's extn? Wana find him..
XX: Erm, i duno, abc is under xyz's care..ok? Bye..
Me: ....OK


I mean, 1st, she dun bother to trf me to xyz's line so that i can ask her. Next, her room isnt that big, cant she just tell abc that im looking for him? She's always lydat! Irritating rite? Waste my time only...!! Def not a team player...


Maybe my fuse is a bit short this week...haiz..i was telling b that little t kept moving and kicking me when im stressed at wrk...he say tat maybe he felt my anxiety and he's somehow affected by it too..haiz..*guilty as charged* Thus, i made it a point now to go to the toilet to talk to him whenever i feel stressed.hee..

Feelin kinda emotional these days..noticed a tear on my dress today (the 3rd dress in this week!) and it almost sent me to the toilet crying..haiz..but i blame it on the hormones.. =p

Places i went during the weekend...

Saturday..

SIL went to queue for the river cruise tickets early in the morn and managed to get it..Act she wanted to get the Flyer tix, but there were too many ppl! Act i didnt want to sit on the cruise, cos im v prone to Seasick-ness..but decided to sit when i saw that it wasnt that bumpy.Hee...the 45mins ride was quite enjoyable..maybe bcos the timing (7.30pm) was just nice...it was not too warm..and the buildings were all brightly lit up..

Sunday...

Went to Downdown East to look see after service...Didnt go for a v long time le and was quite surprised at the many changes there! Many foodie stalls and kids stuff..Many families brought their kids there to play in their huge playground and rides...Bb told me that this will be our life next time...i guess so..our life will never be the same again when little t arrives...hopefully we can still find 'us' time in the midst of taking care of him..=)

The places i went during the weekend was a break away frm the usual shopping places that we used to go during the weekends...and im quite glad. Its nice to go to non-shopping places once in a while for a change..Save $ too! hee...

Man Utd won Blackburn yest..*Yippee*..they are now 8 pts above Liverpool..Muhahah...but they have a tough week ahead..with the champ league on Tues...duno why, im more worried abt their champ league matches..maybe bcos they always win by a margin- the last min 2 goals in 1999 and the penalty shoot out last year...Aniwae, they are so on form now...shdnt be a prob i guess..=p Later Liverpool is playing against Man City...i guess it will be a noisy night!! Ha

Sat Morn...

Love it when bb dun need to wrk on a sat morn..cos I can disturb him...HAHA

It always amazes me how becoming a father to be can really change a person-Preparation of breakfast every morn( mind u, its not just 2 slices of bread with peanut butter in btw)some days its sunny side up..some days its cheese sausages...hee..;massaging of the legs and back on a whim;preparation of supper when im hungry;listening to my whining w/o complaining...=p

As you can see in the pics that i just uploaded...we went to Marina Barrage ( Finally!). It was on vday and surprisingly, there were a lot of ppl there!-couples, families, frens...The view and the cool breeze was enjoyable and i will def go back there again, bringing little T to run around, ( the place is freaking huge!) playing at the water..however, parking is horrendous there..with all the construction gg on ard there..hope it gets better the next round i visit..

Always feel that since buying the car, we have not really been exploring the island...the places below are where i wished to visit.

1)Sentosa
2)Hort Park
3) Dempsey
4) Rochester

But i guess with Little T making his debut soon, it will be a while that b bring me to those places...=)

Friday~ Fiona and Gavin
Knowing that im 'left alone' by the husband on a friday nite, Fiona asked me whether wana join them for dinner at Marina Sq ( Thanks gal!)..i shamelessly agreed, though this means that i will be a huge lightbulb..haha..

Ate at Kenny Rogers and chatted abt work, baby and their upcoming vday celebration. Havent seen the pics at her bloggy..but im sure they had a great time...hee..afterwhich we went to Fox where i bought some of xbb's clothes cos they were on sale and i bought 2 shirts which are v v cute! Looks like what his papa will wear..hee...Will post pics up soon. ( so many old pics not consolidated yet!) Aniwae, xbb-papa say no clothing for you le..Apparently papa say you got more clothes than him now..L-I-A-R and he's getting a bit jealous...=p

Aniwae, bb did not really abandon me la...he went for a drinking session ( i tot kopi loh!) with his male colleagues..

Have not seen them for quite a while le due to our busy schedules..*sobz* and bcos bb and me decided to stop cell in the meantime.haiz...Aniwae, we went to our fav place at raffles city-Sushi Tei for our dinner...*Yummy Yummy!* But duno why i cant finish my rice and my desert...prob bcos i drank lotsa water for the whole day yest due to the hot weather and was feeling v bloated..-_-

Bb say i have grunting/talking in my sleep...am i too stressed? or over-exhausted?

haiz..xbb is still givin me a hard time..but turning and tossing and kicking...the whole day! duno why he doesnt seem to sleep...=(

-Tot i could squeeze between two towers of boxes and i end up making a fool out of myself by making one of them topple over..-_-

-Didnt step back far enuff while opening the toilet door and it hit against my tummy. So painful! Wonder how xbb will feel inside! haha...

Im feelin v bloated now...haiz..put on lotsa weight le...15kg to be exact..i can feel my love handles, which are kinda disgusting...haiz..B say i look like a buffalo...so mean rite..cos he say im givin birth to a little ox this year...-_-

B was watching the Big match last night-Liverpool Vs Chelsea...i was seating beside him, rushing thru my story book , which was a big mistake..cos every now and then, he was grumbling abt how many chances that Liverpool missed and how lousy Reira ( duno the exact spelling) was...i tell you, you will def see a different side of a guy when he's watching his fav soccer team playing or when he's driving..hez...

Aniwae, it was 0-0 scoreline during halftime and a frustrated B decided to turn in...I told him that Liverpool players shd start their second career as artists...he gave me a puzzled look and asked why..oh, cos they like to DRAW ma..HAHA...he turned his back and went to brush his teeth, totally ignoring what i said..=p

Checked the scoreline 1st thing in the morn and i emailed BB the scoreline. Liverpool won, 2-0 and Lampard was given a red card. Watched the highlights with B just now and we both thought that the red card was a bit harsh..but aniwae, Man Utd is still leading by 2 points with one game in hand...so who cares abt the red card right? haha..

Violent child abusing mummy...=p

Look how violent xbb is. This is considered a mild case le..when he's having a 'fun' time dancing or kicking around, i will try to capture the moment, but as if on cue, he immediately quieten down. very 'cute' of him hor...but the doc say that this shows that xbb is healthy and boys tend to be more active..so i will ren!! once, he kicked me so hard at around 5+am that i woke up and i had a hard time fallin back asleep.*sobz*

Watched 2 movies over the weekend-Love matters and Bride Wars. The 1st one really sucks..dun like it..I guess the quality of local production really dipped a lot. I really loved money not enuff part 1 and i not stupid part 1..they were refreshing and hilarious. b said that love matters was like a cheap production. sianz...waste my $!! Furthermore, xbb kept moving thruout the movie, which made me super uncomfy..At 1st was still pondering whether to watch the wedding game. Saw the trailer and the making of the movie-seems quite interesting, but Fiona and Jan said that its not nice. So i guess, i will save the $ and wait for it to be available at my online dvd shop.

Bride wars, on the otherhand was quite enjoyable. Really enjoyed the movie. It was quite hilarious too..Im act quite surprised that B was quite enthu on watching the show. Must be the 2 hot babes that are starring in it.=p
