Sometimes i wish i can have more snooze time everyday...so exhausted everytime im home..Sigh..
Just came back from a massage at spa infinity with B. It was quite relaxing, but just as i was able to fall into Lala land, the massage ended, which made me even more sleepy! What an irony..=p
Anyway, Man Utd is still in the running to win the EPL. Was so over the moon last weekend when they won Man City via a last minute goal. I tink Thad thinks im mad cos i was shouting and jumping like crazy in the hse when they scored. Then, as usual, some sour grapes ppl like the LIVERPOOL supporters who say that so unfair, always last minute blah blah blah. *roll eyes* At least they helped liverpool a bit by beating Man City ok....Then later in the night when Chelsea played against Tottenham, i had initially wanted to turn in as i expected Chelsea to win...but once i saw the 1st goal, i was hooked, line and sinker....i was wide awake and when they scored the 2nd, i was jumping up and down on our expensive bed, pumping my fists in the air and doing my victory dance. HA...Too bad Thad was sleeping, orelse he can join in the celebration! B was like shushing me as he was afraid thad might wake up and staring daggers at me for 'hurting' the bed. *oops*
After that, i finally decided to turn in as i was so sleepy. I even dreamt that Chelsea won 4-3 in the end. So afraid that the 1st thing i did when i woke up is to check the scores on my iphone. Phew, final score, 2-1 in Spurs favour. Yippee! Its getting more and more exciting...Im not going out on weekends night for the next few weeks le...=p

My Beloved Team...
Watching how my beloved team lost to Chelsea and then got kicked out of the champ league was heart wrenching...And the most irritating thing is, Its not that they played badly or wat...
For the chelsea match, it was SO SO SO SO clear that its offside...stupid linesman didnt raise the flag and the referee allowed the goal...!@!#@!@!%$#@ I almost wanted to throw my cup at the TV loh...end up, Chelsea won and became top of the table...so irritating!
For the match against Bayern, which i didnt catch...the final score was 3-2 in Man Utd's favour..but due to the away goal rule, they got kicked out of the champ league. Again, i must stress that i have always hated the away goal rule. Its so not fair. So what if you manage to score at somebody's else stadium? It does not make your team more superior wat...BUt B always say home is always at a advantage as its the 12th man...but watever la...super sian loh...and to make things worse, the person scoring the so call winning goal against Man Utd was Robben, an ex-Chelsea player...kaoz...Thadthad...other than Man Utd, u can support everton, arsernal, which ever i dun care...but u cant support Chelsea...cos mummy hates them!! =p
Anyways, hoping that Chelsea will have a hiccup in the last 5 games. *cross fingers* Sigh, at least there is world cup in june...so i wun miss watching soccer for that long, since man utd is not playing in the champ league le...So looking fwd to next season!
On other note, Thad attended his 1st lesson at Little Neuro Tree last sat. Yup, enrolled him in enrichment classes to stimulate his brain. Was quite surprised that he managed to sit through the 1hr lesson and even concentrated on the activities. It came to a point that the teacher asked thad whether there was anything on her face cos thad was staring hard at her! haha..Hope our $ will pay off.=)

Im Back!!
Boy, am i glad! If kissing the ground when i disembark the aeroplane doesnt whisk me to IMH, i wld gladly kiss it a million times and shout at the top of my voice that....IM BACK!!
Being away from home for Sooooooo long ( my 1st time this long actually) was quite daunting, esp so when im a mother now. I missed Thad so much and i tell you, there were countless times where i just cry myself to sleep after talking to him. And there's this constant worry that he might forget me! But my worries are of cos, uncalled for. When i went to fetch him home, he crawled fervently to the door and he wldnt let anybody carry him afterwards, except me. And as our heartbeats sync, and his head fall on my shoulders, i know...i never ever want to be seperated from him again...until of cos, when he gets older..=)
Anyways, as i blogged earlier, it was quite depressing there, cos the wrkload was quite overwhelming and we wrked til very late everyday..like 2-3am..later on weekends...yes, i wrked on weekends too! Sometimes, tears wld just well up at the corners of my eyes while i was working. Til now, i still got nightmares of being in HK and i shudder whenever i woke up and sigh a sign of relief when i realise that its just a dream! Ha...
But the high side of this trip is that i really get to experience 1st hand how a major conference worked and of cos, i get to meet many of my overseas colleagues whom i have always liased thru emails/phone but nv got a chance to meet them. =) And as we got daily allowances, every morning, i cld just happily go starbucks and order a cup of tea and breakfast, which of cos, i dun do it in SIN cos its too exp!!
Managed to meet up with the ppl we wanted to meet. Even CH met us, although we fall in his optional part of his itinerary. HA....Met HC one day after wrk, and as i was like super stressed, i was in a spending $$ mood..We end up at Kate Spade. ( B must be thankful that we didnt end up in Dior or LV..=p ) and i bought a key pouch and she, a bag! Actually wanted to get that bag too, but i tink Mr Chan wun be too pleased abt it. He's like nagging constantly abt my rocket high phone bills and watever paper which have my name and numbers on it! Sigh....
The extended trip was actually quite tiring for me cos we went out shopping and sight seeing the whole day. And to make matters worse, the hotel we stayed in - Metropark Mongkok was pretty bad. Carpets were dusty and have stains on them, toilet has rusty parts. So off! Only enjoyed the last night, which was in Hollywood disneyland hotel. Even B caught the disney magic there. He loved it and he said that next time we can stay there, but at the more exp hotel! Yea...!! When i made reservations, i indicated that it was our wedding anniversary, and when we returned to the hotel the 1st night, i saw a bouquet of flowers, a tin of biscuits, 2 small towels and a card signed off by Mickey! Was so overjoyed by this happy surprise! =) How i wish Thad was also there...!!
Overall, we covered all the places we wanted to visit. Many thanks to this guide book that B bought. And the funny thing is, when i was flipping thru the book, i kept questioning B, why we didnt visit this and there the other time huh? Ha...But the most irritating part of this trip is tat we encountered many many rude service staff! It wasnt like that when we visited few years ago. This time round, they were so rude, so bo chap, give you attitude etc. Even when B spoke to them in cantonese! It really spoiled our mood totally! there was once i asked the sales girl for a new piece of the top which i intend to buy...do you know where she go and get it ? From the stack of clothes that were on display...i was like...HUH?!?! This one is considered new piece?? And she even gave mi a face! kaoz...quickly paid and left the shop!
Okies, enuff of HK...i can really go on and on...HA...
Forgot to mention earlier that i flew back the weekend of Thad bdae and we went to the Zoo! Thad was so cute and i shall post the photos and video of him feeding the elephant soon in fb. It was so funny, cos he refused to let go of the banana...and he and the elephant were having a mini tug of war...=p

Some people just duno whats the meaning of ...Im busy now.
Just this week, i encountered 2 people who pissed me off!
1) Encounter with a shop which specialises in trimming eyebrows and have a chain of stores.
Called up in the morning to book an appointment at 12.30pm.
Recept (R): Sorry, we are full. How about 1.30pm?
Me: Its ok, 1.30pm is too late for me.
R: Erm, hold on, someone just cancelled their slot, is 12.30pm fine with you?
Me: Yes, thats the timing that i initially told you...-_-
Reached there at 12.25pm
R: Sorry Miss, you have to wait for a while.
Me: 5 minutes right? My appt is 12.30pm
R: Yes 5-10mins...
Anyway, i took my own sweet time as i need to run some errands too. When i came back at 12.50pm, The therapist still wasnt ready! Then nm, i whipped out my iphone to fiddle ard. ( THank God for Iphone!) It was not until 1pm that i finally did get to do my brows.
During the session, the therapist, as usual, try to upsell their star service which costs 1k..I declined politely..She kept ranting on and on..Hate it when you go for such service and they kept talking non stop, selling you this and that, telling you you need this and that. So stressful! And its supposed to be relaxing!! After the session, she say that someone will help me draw my brows and explain to me more...*Groanz* i stressed to her that im in a hurry!
The guy came and explained...and while explaining, a therapist and another lady, which i presume is the sales manager, stood at the door, looking and me! So pressurising!! I told the person that i didnt want to take up that service and i took my bag and walked to the counter. The SM asked me what is my concern and kept saying they can wrk out a package for me, i can just pay a small deposit 1st blah blah blah...So pissed that i told her how unhappy i was that my session started 30mins late. She then showed me an unhappy face..kaoz...Im left with 5 sessions. Shall try again at another branch. If they still continue to hard sell, i will rather forfeit my package!!
2) Encounter with an irritating telemarketing person. (T)
I was so busy, even at 12+pm when this fellow called to promote their loans.
Me: Sry, im busy, what is this call abt?
T: This is to promote our loans.
Me: Sry, im not interested...
T: Why is this so? Our loans offer the best interest rate ........
Me: ( cutting short the person's LONG sales pitch ) sry, but im really busy now
T: I can call you later?
Me: Its ok, IM NOT INTERESTED!
I know they are doin their job, but i already politely told them that Im not free and im not interested. Hate the question back on why im not interested. Kaoz...no need loan means no need loan loh...still need to explain?? Besides, it irks me that they can just go on and on.!!!

My fav pair of shoes broke today. So sad...think im gg buy the same pair as i really liked it a lot! Thank God before that during lunch time, i bought a new pair as i had voucher, orelse, i will be in my flip flops! haha...
More or less packed my luggage for my trip..Cant wait for end march to arrive! Sigh...

It Came and Went...

Thanks for coming!!Referring to the Thad Thad turns 1 - Winnie the Pooh Theme Party yesterday!!
It was a busy and tiring day for us all. The day before, i made sure that thadthad and i have ample sleep so that we can be our freshest the next day. But Thad only slept at 12+am despite my gd efforts! The next morning, i tried calling him to wake up at 8.45am, but he refused and he turned away frm me...Fed up that i carried him up and the sleepy boy finally opened his eyes. Quickly went to feed him milk and bathe him..
It was not easy getting the whole hsehold to get ready, and we were running behind time cos still need to collect our cake. The cake box was huge and we had a hard time squeezing it into the car. When we rched, we quickly went to seperate the balloons and tied them up ard the place. Some ppl tot that the balloons were provided by the venue. Where got so gd? We spend $100 on them k!! ( Only to bring home 2 ..) People started coming ard 12pm and we started entertaining our guests...
Was very busy and my apologies if i havent really talk to u peeps or that you never get to carry the STAR..=p Thad was quite well behaved, i shd say..He didnt really throw tantrum when he was tired. He only screamed a while when he sat too long in the baby chair and when we kept taking pics..haha...it was quite over whelming when i was at the cake table and i looked up to see all the flashing lights and the crowd. Finally get my taste of paparazzi. Ha...
Was really pleased with the bdae cake. Though its exp..really felt its worth every cent as i received positive comments frm guests. I shall always order from them if i will to throw another party for thad.HA..Oh, he was so tired after the party that he slept 2 hrs straight when he rched home! He didnt even stir when we transfer him from the mattress to the playpen.=) And he learnt a new word - Balloon...When we asked thad where is his balloon, he will look at them! so cute hor....HA
From the bottom of our hearts, we wld like to say a BIG thank you for shanging lian and coming to Thad's party. Really appreciate it and also thank you for your gifts. *Muackz*
