I have come to a conclusion that birds hate our car...Since getting the car, we have washed/wiped away countless bird droppings..and mind you, we parked in a multi storey carpark, not those open air kind...!!

I already find it wierd that on the 1st day that we collected the car, we already kana our 1st one on the way home.so hengz rite you think...then every week, w/o fail sure have oso...*YUCKS*

Just yesterday on our way home while i was turning into the small road...*plik plak plik plak* Its not one or two k..its like raining bird shit!!i couldnt help laughing when i got off the car...haha..it seems that the birds were just waiting for us to turn in and start their armsfire...

Last day in the office this year..Most ppl are still out on leave and i guess life will be back to normal on the 5th..Just paid my bills, season parking and contribution to the joint account..Seeing my balance is really depressing..*sigh* Cant wait to get back to givin tuition once i get settled with xbb...the extra income wun hurt..=p

Looking back at my past entries on what i want to achieve in 2008 and did a bit of reflection.

What i want in 2008
1) Good health and happiness for all So far ok
2) More family bonding So far ok, though it can be hard managing both families expectations
3) Smooth preparation for wedding and a fab one YUP!
4)My body to be more toned.(Nato!!!i need help...starting my tennis lessons in jan w jh..dun play play huh) erm...NA
5)All frogs to disappear outa my sight Still hoping
6)I dun need use calculator to add up my credit card bills HAIZ...
7)Dress up more.. i dun wana be yellow face woman!! Erm..ok la
8)B,ok la ok la...eat more fruits( u better cut and peel for mi!) and drink less coke.. Hmm...acceptable
9) Stop peeling my lips.. bad habit since young..=( NEXT
10) Travel more? =) Not really..*sigh*
11) Save up to buy my IT bag...=) Thanks to B, got it! *Yippee*
12) Shop more Thanks to xbb, this is over accomplished

Doesnt seem like a recession to me..!!

Went to orch to check out the post Christmas sale on Friday after servicing our car...Duno why there were so many cars at 4+..we were 'stuck' in orch for 1 hr before we could start our shopping spree...Isetan, as expected, was crowded...but the staff were adequate and were on hand to ans to our queries and the queues were quite short due to the many cashiers. Thumbs up for their service and their planning of the sale. Frankly speaking, i seldom go isetan sale..but i guess i will be from now on..HA...Was quite surprised to see some items going at a steal...and i dun mean those yi shi yi shi 10% off kind..but 50%!!

We went to Robinson after dinner to check out their sale as well..It was less crowded..but the staff were non-exsistent..we had a hard time just 'grabbing' one to ask questions abt the car seat etc..horrible..and we waited like 30mins just to pay our stuff..*fainted* very bad..so disappointing..but nonetheless, we still got some baby stuff as they were on sale and it was a gd bargain..The shopping experience at the 2 diff places was really one heaven one earth...

Attended Verlyn's wedding last sat at Trader's hotel. 1st time attending wedding there..it was ok, except that the ballroom was rather warm! Most ppl was perspiring thruout! I tink B enjoyed himself as he was seated with his 'gang' and they had a great time catching up, joking and chit-chatting..I find it amusing that B can talk with his colleagues/friends for a long time discussing abt babies stuff-exchanging tips on how to take care of them, comparing diapers/milk prices, asking each other on which brand is better etc..haha...But i guess its sweet..=)

Liverpool played a great game yest..watched the 1st half of the match and i know Newcastle is a goner...Their passing are lousy and they were so un-cordinated.. unlike Liverpool..They have a lot of shot on target and their passing were superb! ( Surprised that im praising them? Nope, i havent gone to the dark side..You will see why below..) If not for Given, Liverpool could thrash newcastle more loh...

You know, i really think Liverpool Supporters are really sour grapes. Here is the reason why..

1) They are SUPER anti Man Utd.
-Whenever Man Utd plays against XXX team, B will say, ok..today i shall support XXX and he will tell xbb that too..poor xbb..so confused loh..and B will go ALL the way to support XXX team..like die die Man Utd cannot win lydat..and like he's an avid fan of XXX team from day one.

2) They will be very Bu shuang when Man Utd win
-When i cant catch the match, i smth sms jinhao to ask him the scoreline..and when Man utd wins, he will say, Tyco win by xx goals la..despite me explaining him countless times that a win is a win..no such thing as tyco k

3) They always complain that Man Utd fans are very hao lian.
-No ah..Its just that Man Utd is a strong team and thus, they tend to win most leagues, cups, matches...so when they win, what do fans do? Celebrate loh...this is not hao lian ma...i mean when Liverpool win the treble, you all will keep quiet meh? Win one champ league hire one bus go around proclaiming le..and we also nv say you all hao lian wor..

4) They will not praise Man Utd players one despite they get awards etc
-For us, we see who is really Li hai, we will say loh..scared what? Its the truth ma..no point denying it..i dun deny Liverpool have great players like Gerrald, Carragher etc..

I got all the above not only from B, but Liverpool supporters which i notice thru the years..haha..so xbb, must choose well ya...=p

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...

Everybody was in holiday mood in the office..Lalala..so happy to leave early. Bought lunch for B and headed home to rest. He was on leave. So shiok! Rested til evening then headed to mum's place for the party. It was really a raining Christmas! Had fun catching up with relatives and parent's friends, and playing with the kids...Poor us...my room was never the same again. They kept playing with my stuff toys, climbing up and down..asking questions and disturbing B...i asked B..Still wana have lotsa kids huh...He just shrugged...hee...

Went for 11.15am service..saw many frens which i have not seen in a while...Headed to Brandon's place for our gathering...his hse, no..his palace..was REALLY REALLY huge! i mean..who can say they have a chapel in their hse? Who can say their hse have versace tiles????we were very overwhelmed by the place...!!

This Christmas is really special as its my 1st Christmas as Mrs Chan..haha...Before opening our presents when the clock struck 12, B and me said a short prayer thanking God for what He have done. He has really blessed us with SO many things this year-Our wedding, xbb, great frens and families..and the list just goes on. We are always in His hands and we pray that God will continue blessing us and the ppl around us...Have a God blessed Christmas and 2009!!

Yihui and Don's wedding was beautiful last evening...Managed to attend the solemnisation as well and it was such a touching moment. Dinner was at Holiday Inn (Orchard) and i finally manged to see Dillion *He's so cute!* He went out to pluck a rose and ran all the way in to pass it to Li Duan. Sweet right? Hope xbb will be lydat too.=p

Will upload the photos when i get home, tgt with those that i will be taking today and tomorrow.

Going to sk today to celebrate Christmas with my family. Its their annual party and there's gg to be lotsa food! hee..

Christmas day we are going to church and thereafter heading to Brandon's home aka the palace for a gathering.We are finally able to visit the much talked about abode of his. And i tink there's gg to be a wii session as well! =p

Took leave on the 26th to bring xiao hei for servicing and chiong the isetan sale. Heard Pigeon is havin 20% off..see whether anything to buy for xbb. Yup, now instead of revolving my shopping brands around Zara, Top shop, Mango etc..its Pigeon, Lucky Baby...*sigh*

As the title race is heating up, big matches like the one last night ( Arsernal Vs Liverpool) is an impt one. Of cos i was rooting for Arsernal who can almost kiss the title goodbye...You could have seen B's face when Arsernal scored first..Black like our car! haha..and he was in a foul mood, complaining that Liverpool starting 11 are made up of lousy players ( Hmm..i tot all are the same??=p) la di da..

Excerpt of our conversation:
B: Who's that winger at the right side? Passing so lousy. Their starting line up players all so lousy!
Me: Umm..

5mins later

B: TSK! Anyhow pass..anyhow play..Their starting line up players all so lousy!
Me: Umm..Mmm...

Apparently i was not interested in watching 90mins of the match..Just interested to know the results and hope that Liverpool will drop points AGAIN!
When Liverpool scored the equaliser, B practically jumped up and rejoyced..and the song of You will never walk alone starts to irritate me and xbb..His mood was a great 360 degree change and nonetheless, the mood of the conversation also changed.

B: Go Liverpool! Woah..almost score! Wasted..
Me: .....( he didnt notice that i nv even ans him! HAHA)

I dozed off to La la land before the final whistle, but awoke slightly when B turned off the TV. Asked sleepishly whether the final score is still 1-1.

B: Ya, Liverpool kept dropping points. Soon the rest will catch up. *Sigh*
Me: Ooh xbb kicking me again.
B: He must be frustrated over Liverpool's loss
Me: Nono..he is celebrating with mummy..( and with that, i turned my back towards B, ending the conversation.=p)
