My weekend

Friday

Left work on the dot to go Marina Square to collect the shape run's tee and bib. Running with Fiona. Realised that one of my SIL is running too. Yea, can go tog. My 1st time running shape run. Signed up last year, but didnt go cos we went TW instead. Cant believe its already one year! While waiting for Angel (Meeting her to change her Mango dress), walked around to get my running shorts and a pouch to put my barang while running. HA...gd excuse to shop huh. But B said that my shorts are too short and my pouch looks ugly. Blearh..cheapie one ma.

Aniwae, since it was still early and i didnt want to shop animore, i went to starbucks to rest, have a drink and read my book. Could hear the NDP rehearsal and i guess there was a live orchestra ( or frm disc??) Aniwae, the blending of the different instruments were nice! Could hear clearly the brass and the woodwinds! Brought back memories again. I miss being part of the band..the performances..haiz..

In the end, i didnt get to meet up with Angel, cos she ended work rather late and i was gg meet B. he was early! ( a once in a blue moon occurence) Went to eat at MOS and went shopping at isetan supermarket cos he still have his bdae vouchers. Bought apples there. Loved Fuji apples, but they are really exp! In total, we racked up on $40+ on apples and some misc. Tsk Tsk...but they were really nice, juicy and crunchy..HOPE B CUTS FOR ME TONIGHT! =)

I did our poor cupboard a favour. Its already filled with minature wine bottles which B collects. (Upload the pic one day..) B saw one at Isetan and he asked me whether have or not. I say have ah..cfm have..so he trusted me and didnt buy. Sun morn, he woke up earlier than me and went to look at the cupboard..then he asked me over while i was walking to brush my teeth and ask me to point out the bottle that i said have.kaoz..i just woke up loh..i pointed randomly and he shook his head and just smiled with a big grin on his face--Yea, can buy le!
Haiz..cant help the cupboard anymore..but fyi, i tot he really have that bottle k.

Saturday

Went tuition today at 11am. Yawnz...But its ok, b needs to work oso. After tuition, bought lunch for family and went back to sk home. Slacked ard, read papers, pack room til abt 3+ where daddy fetched me back while on the way to pick up mummy frm wrk. B not even home loh..Poor boy, rched abt 4+ after clearing up his work. His cousins and aunty came ard 5 to take pics with us, in her graduation gown. FIL cooked dinner and we had a feast while watching our wedding video. =) did 10 pages on project scrappy too! tried to force B to contribute some $$ on the project, saying i chu li, he chu qian..but he refused, saying that its my project. He even refused to help tear out the dbl sided tape loh..hmph!

Sunday

Cldnt wake up for 9am svs so went to the 11am instead. (so yihui, i nv pong cell k..=p) Pastor Rony finished up on the topic of thorough cleansing and im glad i made it to the svs. Went to the hokkaido fair at isetan tamp w jan, kc and b after svs. It was chocked-filled with ppl! Jan and me got the hokkaido ice cream which was delicilous, sinful and exp! Haiz..everything is gg up except our pay..=( Walked ard for a while before heading back..cos we are attending Gary and Faith's wedding this evening at Marriott.

Slept all the way home on the bus, til i got a headache, cos the sun was so hot! When i reached home, B gave me a -you-just-slept-for-an-hr-u-wana-sleep-again? look. i sheeplishly nodded my head. Duno why sunday is my sleep in day loh...i can sleep for few hrs kind! and sleep early at night! haha..Aniwae, B joined me in lala land later on.

I shook him awake at 6.30pm to get ready for the wedding. We quickly dressed up and went to Marriott. There were a lot of ppl there. Met a lot of my ex-coll and B's currents ones and we chatted. But my eyesight wasnt that gd and thus i tink i accidentally ignored some ppl who were waving at me. My apologies...Duno leh..my eyesight is quite poor at night and in dim places. Haiz..read too much books liao..HA

The wedding was quite special as they hired this grp of photographers called livestudios.

Once photo is taken, it will be immediately transmitted to the projector screen where everybody can view them. Photos will be printed shortly and their guys will walk ard the ballroom to look for the ppl inside the photo. Cool rite? 1st time i c this. When i went to check out the prices..i almost fainted! But its smth unique la..
Loved Faith's EG. So nice and she look beautiful and sexy loh!

Tired out...

If u have seen me every day, you would have thought that i was still in my Euro days..duno why these days im so tired..11.30 and im KO..i can tong til 1am in the past loh! Thus, i was unable to blog much..Asked my new email buddies (Hc, timo and chris) eat what to get my energy running and this are what they said:

-chicken essence (funny taste)
-red bull ( HATE the taste..taste like cherry/strawbery which i hate!)
-power bars (erm..like v hardcore leh)
-eggs (?????)

Aniwae, hope i can get my energy up.im feeling old..=(

wanted to blog abt my weekend since erm..last weekend? HA...

Wanted to go birdpark on sat..but it rained...rained and rained...sianz...so we ended up staying the whole day and packing our stuff. Managed to put away some stuff, but the room is still in a mess! ( see next entry for pics!!) There's always too much stuff and too little space.Haiz..We decorated our toilet door with left over Winkz decals and also played mj..yup, 2 of us and i ended up losing $10 to the bully...oh, we also watched NDP planes and fireworks frm his place..beginning to like the location more and more..and the view frm his living room...Gorgeous!

Sun...i slept for 5 hrs after church...5 hrs..so long never had this luxury le..and my, i tink my sleep bank loan is still outstanding! Went for a swim at Toa payoh swimming pool after that alone, cos B went back to wrk (So ko lian..) It was a wrong move to swim on a sunday. There were so many kids taking swimming lessons! Brought back memories act..rem that time need to swim in our PJs..hee..Aniwae, managed to find a gd spot and started swimming laps..It was a gd workout..swam abt 20+ laps..the only disgusting thing is that i saw a piece of shit at the bottom of the pool! YUCKS!!

Hope to exercise more this week..maybe gg for a run instead..cos wana build up stamina for the Shape run next sun...I miss PE lessons...Ha..and you tot i would never say that..=p

Top 5 things tat i kept being asked since i got hitched...

1) How's marriage life
-Its actually ok la..Just getting used to sharing my life with another person loh..Getting used to his bad habits and praying that my future kids wun inherit them.=p Hoping that we can have more space as well..haiz..

2) What do you call yr in laws huh?
-My MIL specifically asked me to call her lai lai ( mum in canto). FIL just call papa loh..

3) Is his family ok?
-I tink in his family, the one who kept bullying me is him loh! The rest are ok..treat me fairly good.

4)Does he give you any allowance?
-NOPE! Zilch...Zero....

5) Are you planning for a baby soon?
-Let nature takes its course loh...if have sure tell u all ma..

HAHA..im quite bo hor..just tat i keep getting asked abt the above, esp qn 1...Weihao asked me that every week!!!

Went to dye my hair yesterday since my tuition got cancelled at the last min and i so so wanted to dye my hair since i came back frm Japan, after seeing their hair color there..

Wanted really light brown, but the hair stylish say that it doesnt suit me cos im too fair..so i settled for medium brown lydat. Dye hao le...everybody keep asking me whether did i dye my hair or not loh? haiz...i spent $2XX on my hair and nobody noticed! so sad...

Was complaining to Belinda, saying that Jap gals are oso v fair ma...y they can dye light colors, i cannot?? Then she say its not my fault...its nian ling de wen ti ( Its the problem with my age)

Thank you huh...i was left speechless loh...SIANZ!

Went shopping with hc after wrk today..walk til legs v suan..til now..hc didnt buy anything..i bought a clutch bag..gg use it on Gary and Faith's wedding..=) ( Excuses!) haiz..i really need to save $$..NO MORE SHOPPING!!

Realised that i bought a lot of stuff-clothes, bags, shoes since i got married. Maybe now no need to let mum nag when she sees the stuff..B will nag also la..but i have came up w a plan to escape this..so gals, i will teach you this trick now...Muhahaha..aniwae, as i said in my cbox, B hardly reads my blog one..so i can be quite safe i would say..*crosses fingers*

1) Throw all receipts in office dustbins or outside and declare that yr credit card bills are off limits to partners.

2) If forgot to throw receipts, shred them into as small pieces as possible and throw them into the dustbin. Offer to throw out the thrash. ( You can score points!!HAHA)

3) Disposal of price tag-refer to point 2 above

4) When items are being spotted:
-Stressed that you gotten a big bargain. Eg: Can u believe it? This dress was $xxx before and now its selling for only $xx!!! ( Widen yr eyes as big as you can and exaggerate yr tone)
-Aiya, that was bought some time back ( do note: sometime back can mean this afternoon during lunch k...)

These are the pointers that i have tot of so far..gals, do share if u haf additional pointers..kaoz..b just gave mi a shock by peering behing my shoulders to see what im doin! hengz i quickly alt-tab!!

i realised smth...i suddenly enjoyed washing my own clothes and watever!! Cant believe myself..i actually feel the satisfaction when i wear my i-wash-myself-clothes! Think B's prayers are answered! haha..told him this and he gained the inch but ask for a meter!! he asked whether i would enjoy washing other ppl clothes as well! Nah..PRAY HARDER!!!!=p

Project Scrappy takes a break as i was too tired and i was busy watching DVDs..have signed up at holloywoodclicks.com and recently upgraded to a 2 disc plan. Thus can watch more regularly.=) Watched mid-summer night dream on Tues-B asked mi to rent that ( dun ask mi why). Turns out to be ultra boring and the language they spoke was those used during
shakespear time ( duh..its a shakespear show!!) in the end we didnt even complete the movie! so wasted..

Yest went do mani pedi with hc..its been a while since i did mani pedi with my gfs..hee..It was fun but the nails turn out not so nice..sigh..

Watched Little Mermaid when i rched home yest..my fav disney cartoon. shes so pretty! forced B to watch tog but of cos he didnt..and halfway thru, he started watching and kept asking me qns!! Why she got legs..who's that...whats happening! Irritating! and he always does this! Hmph..

Went Mango sale just now..havent been there since it started! saw some stuff which i bio last time and bought it! haha...some dun haf my size..sigh..now have to tink of a way how to bring home w/o B looking..haha

Die..tml im gg shopping with hc again!!
